Hi guys! I just posted my demo reel!

It's a short collection of my works from 2011 - 2013. It collects some of my works from my graduation film "Chase", my personal sequential art, a short teaser that we made for a full length film called "Johnny", an episodic series called "Doon Po Sa Amin", and finally, a full length film which our studio has done, which is about the life of Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, entitled "Frère" (You could check out the trailer here: Frère Trailer).

Graduation Film "Chase"

Hi guys! Coming off of the biggest animation festival here in the Philippines called Animahenasyon: Philippine Animation Festival 2013, I am very proud to present to you, my graduation film "Chase"!

My film was selected as a finalist in the Category H (1 Minute - 6 Minutes) Student Division.

Chase is my Graduation Film from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts. It is about a Treasure Hunter running away from a mad Pirate bent on taking the treasure which the Treasure Hunter is carrying. Along their journey, both men traverse the dangerous obstacles of the desert ruins, such as destroyed walls, broken pillars, unstable structures and much more.

I used 2D Traditional Animation and 3D Backgrounds. Chase was made in a year and a half, and was completed in December of 2012.

Animahenasyon 2013!

My graduation film "Chase" is going to Animahenasyon 2013!

My short film entitled Chase was chosen as an official finalist for Animahenasyon: Philippine Animation Festival 2013. Animahenasyon is the biggest Animation Festival here in the Philippines. I was a part of a group back in 2011 and we were finalists in one category of the competition. Now as an individual, I entered my film and I was very lucky enough for it to be picked!

ANIFEST V

This is kind of a long post, but bear with me, it's all fun! So no Sketch-A-Day for today, I decided to continue it some other time. Though I will continue to sketch everyday if I can. I just need some time to practice my craft more, I believe I still need to improve more. A lot more. It's fun practicing and seeing yourself evolve. And when I can, I'll upload my works again for you to see! :D

Well anyway, this is a little bit of a late upload, MY BATCH'S ANIMATION FESTIVAL!:

First up is my booth. My collaterals which consisted of my pins, key chains and calling cards were wiped clean in about 30 mins-1 hour I think. Thank you to all of those who supported my film!:

Animation Festival 5

Check out our first poster for our upcoming Animation Festival!

The festival will showcase the graduation films of the AB-Animation students. We have programs, games, film viewing and more! It will be a lot of fun! If you're in the Philippines, especially in the Manila area, please come down on December 14th, Friday, to De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde, School of Design and Arts, 5th Floor Theater. Thesis External Defense

Hey guys, this upload is a little bit late but here it is. Finally! My external defense for my film: Chase! This was last Monday, and I am very very very happy with the result of the defense, and of course, with what the panelists said about my film! There were 4 panelists who are professionals in the film industry. A lot of positive feedback went my way and I was so surprised that they liked it that much. It was really fun, along with my professors, friends and co-defenders, cheering and supporting me while I presented my film. It was such a wonderful experience, one that I will never forget.

Graduation Film: Chase - Production Bible

Hey everyone! Here's a sneak peek at my film's production bible. It contains pre-production work of my film, from studies to final designs, and many more. This is what I presented to the panelists when I defended my thesis last Monday. It's a shame I have to surrender my bible to my school for documentation. However, I would like and I will try to publish another copy for myself when I can. Here it is!:

Chase Poster Design

Here we go! With my thesis defense coming in the next 3 weeks, I am almost finished putting everything together! This week we're gonna have a mock defense so wish me luck!

This is my poster for my graduation film entitled Chase. This is a revamped version of my old poster design. This design will be for my tarpaulin which will be used during my defense and our upcoming animation festival. This design will also be for my DVD Covers and pins/badges. I also have other designs for pins/badges as well, and also for keychains. I will be publishing all of these products this week, along with my art book, and I'll upload pics of these when I am able.

So anyway, here is my poster for my film! I hope you all like it!:

Chase Preview

Hope y'all are ready for some gun fight/parkour action! I'm nearing the end of making my graduation film,  Chase (here's an old poster I designed for my film) and I am so stoked about it! I can't wait to finally finish it and show it to you guys! It's been over a year already and I'm nearly there!

Marianing!
